Former Chief of the Turkish General Staff and retired Army General Metin Gürak has been presented with Azerbaijan’s “For Services in the Field of Military Cooperation” medal, awarded to him in 2025 by Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.
According to Report, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Türkiye said in a post on X that Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Türkiye Rashad Aslanov presented Gürak with the medal and the corresponding certificate.
