Russia’s Defence Ministry says its forces will intensify strikes on Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine following President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s pledge to step up attacks on Russian oil refineries. Moscow said it would target military facilities, defence industry sites and related infrastructure. The warning comes as Russian strikes on Kyiv have increasingly hit infrastructure, while both sides deny targeting civilians.
