The Chairman of Adjara Government Zurab Pataradze met with Georgian Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister Revaz Sokhadze.
The Government of Adjara shared glimpses of the meeting along with a brief not about the discussions held at the working session on its official Facebook Page on Friday, October 2, 2026.
At the meeting held in the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, the ongoing and planned infrastructure projects in Adjara were discussed. The conversation touched on the development of motorable highways and internal state roads, rehabilitation of schools and kindergartens, as well as ongoing and planned urban and municipal infrastructure projects in Batumi.
At the meeting, the dynamics of the performance of the work done by the Ministry of Infrastructure in the region and future plans were summarized. According to Zurab Pataradze, close and intensive coordination between central and local authorities is important for the timely and high-quality implementation of all projects.
The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure in Adjara is implementing and planning a number of major infrastructure projects aimed at improving transport links, educational, urban and municipal infrastructure in the region.
