U.S. President Donald Trump mistakenly referred to Iran as the “Islamic Republic of Japan” during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara.
He made the remark while intending to say Iran had fired 111 missiles at U.S. bases and allies.
