Georgia drew with the Czech Republic in their second match and got their first point at EURO 2024. It was a nail-biter of a game dominated by the Czech side, which Georgia managed to hold to a draw thanks to the brilliant efforts of the players. The hero of the match was goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, who made more than 10 saves.
The match ended 1-1 with Georges Mikautadze scoring a penalty goal – his second goal at the EURO. Georgia’s next match is against Portugal on June 26, a match they must win to advance out of the group.
