Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his cabinet members are visiting Georgia on a working visit from March 3 to 4.
Georgian Dream Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili received him at Tbilisi International Airport on March 3. Later in the evening, the Georgian Dream government hosted the Armenian delegation at a dinner in Kakheti, Georgia’s eastern region. Pashinyan also posted a video on social media of himself drumming along to “Billie Jean” at a restaurant.
The Armenian delegation also includes Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, Arayik Harutyunyan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Education Minister Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan, Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan, and Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Konstanyan.
Official meetings were held on March 4, including talks between Prime Ministers Nikol Pashinyan and Irakli Kobakhidze and between Foreign Ministers Maka Botchorishvili and Ararat Mirzoyan, as well as the 15th session of the Georgia-Armenia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. After the session, Pashinyan and Kobakhidze signed the commission’s protocol and held a joint news conference.
