The Armenian Defense Ministry urged citizens to refrain from sharing unverified information about the frontline or army positions on social media, a practice that has become increasingly common recently, and to rely solely on official reports.
“In case of intensive and significant ceasefire violation, the Armenian Ministry of Defense issues official statements and refutes—in due time and after multiple clarifications—the posts that constitute misinformation.
The Ministry of Defense urges to refrain from publicizing inaccurate, incorrect and fabricated information related to the army and the border situation, and to follow the official news of the Defense Ministry,” the statement added.
