Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday claimed the new United States administration was “now echoing the same statements” over the ongoing war in Ukraine that the Georgian Government had made over the past three years.

The work of construction of an international standard ice arena has been completed in Tbilisi. The ice arena will be used for hockey, figure skating and curling sports.

The work was going on full swing for a long time. The newly constructed building houses all world class facilities to provide updated infrastructure for sportspersons of capital.

This building of the highest-level Tbilisi Ice Arena has been equipped with an ice rink measuring 60 meters by 30 meters. The stadium is designed for up to 700 spectators. The world class facilities for training will be provided to sportspersons visiting there is also arranged.

The building also have medical services, conference halls, dressing rooms and bathrooms, a space for a cafe with a panoramic view of the arena and a parking lot.

Moreover, a cooling system has been installed in the building, which in accordance with international standards and can be adjusted to different temperatures as per requirement.

This cooling system can also be used for cooling the ice surface, regulates both the humidity level and the heating of the spectator space. On the other hand, two big scoreboards and a lighting system have been installed on the arena, the building is fully Adapted for people with disabilities so that they can enjoy performances of sportspersons without any problems.

The project was implemented by the Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure with funding from the state budget, its cost amounted to 29.2 million GEL. This ice arena was a long pending demand of local population especially sports persons.

The sitting arrangement is constructed as per latest design and is very spacious. This sitting arrangement in such a way,  where people can sit with ease and enjoy performance of sportspersons.

For cleaning the arena an automatic cleaning machine is also purchased by the municipality. The peoples of capital expressed their happiness over construction of this world class ice arena in capital city Tbilisi The sportsperson expressed hopes that this will produce best sportsperson from country to compete at world classes tournaments.
