A delegation from the State Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and “Azerbaijan Airlines” (AZAL) has traveled to Kazakhstan, Azernews reports, citing Kazakhstan’s Transport Ministry.

Following the tragic crash of the “Embraer 190” passenger plane, operated by “Azerbaijan Airlines” (AZAL) on its Baku-Grozny route, which resulted in numerous fatalities, President Ilham Aliyev has declared a day of mourning on December 26th throughout the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In recent years, Azerbaijan has made significant strides in the field of renewable energy, emerging as a key player in global green energy efforts. In the UNECE report, “Establishing a National Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Agency in Georgia: Comparative Analysis and Strategic Recommendations Based on UNECE Member States Experience”, the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency (AREA) is highlighted as a key example of best practices for establishing and operation a national renewable energy agency.
