The development of green energy corridors and zones is key to addressing climate change issues and clean electricity generation at the global level

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar attended the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations (UN) Framework Convention on Climate Change, hosted by Azerbaijan and held in Baku. Emphasizing Turkey’s key role in the net zero emission target, Bayraktar said, ”We believe that we will contribute to the net zero emission target by commissioning our 20,000 megawatts nuclear-installed power by 2050.”
