The development of green energy corridors and zones is key to addressing climate change issues and clean electricity generation at the global level

Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar attended the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations (UN) Framework Convention on Climate Change, hosted by Azerbaijan and held in Baku. Emphasizing Turkey’s key role in the net zero emission target, Bayraktar said, ”We believe that we will contribute to the net zero emission target by commissioning our 20,000 megawatts nuclear-installed power by 2050.”

TÜİK announced the housing sales figures for October, the provinces with the most housing sales, the number of houses purchased by foreign buyers and the foreign nationals who bought the most houses. According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, 165,138 houses were sold in October across Turkey.
