United States President Joe Biden is reportedly “open” to sending long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine. This comes as Ukraine claims to advance deeper into Kursk – the Russian border region it invaded last week. The possible delivery of joint air-to-surface missiles (JASSMs) will boost Ukraine’s F-16 fighter jets which Kyiv recently acquired. If the U.S. goes through with its plans, it may also risk being dragged into a direct conflict with Russia as the missiles have the potential to do a lot of damage to Moscow.
