Israeli War Crimes: Death Toll in Nuseirat Camp 274, Including 64 Children


The aftermath of Saturday’s intense Israeli military operations in Gaza continues to reveal its devastating impact. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the death toll from the raid has surged to 274, with a tragic count of at least 64 children among the victims. In addition to the fatalities, more than 700 Palestinians have been reported injured in the conflict.

However, dead bodies and injured have been taken to the Al-Aqsa hospital that witnessed the shocking scene of bloodbath and like slaughterhouse.

The raid, described by eyewitnesses as one of the most severe in recent history, began in the early hours of Saturday when people were sleeping, they meet their sudden death. Reports from local sources indicate that the strikes targeted multiple residential and commercial areas, leading to widespread destruction and panic among civilians.

Among the most heart-wrenching aspects of the raid is the significant number of children affected. Hospitals and emergency services are overwhelmed as they struggle to treat the influx of injured. The Health Ministry’s figures highlight the dire situation, with many of the wounded suffering from critical injuries due to the intense bombardment.

Geostat: FDI USD 201.4 Million in Q1’24


Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Georgia reached USD 201.4 million in the first quarter of 2024, according to the preliminary data published by the National Statistics Office (Geostat) on June 10. This marks a 64.4% decrease compared to the preliminary data of the first quarter of 2023. Geostat notes that decreasing in equity, reinvestment and debt instruments is considered to be the main reason for the reduction of FDI.

Out of the total FDI, USD 75.9 million was in the form of equity investments, which saw a 77.65% drop from the preliminary data of the Q1 of 2023. These equity investments accounted for 37.7% of the total FDI. Additionally, reinvestment amounted to USD 92.5 million, making up 45.9% of the total FDI.

The Turkey topped the list of foreign direct investors with USD 42.4 million (21% of total investment), followed by Czech Republic with USD 41.5 million (20.6%), the United States with USD 33.7 million (16.7%), the Netherlands USD 32.3 million (16.1%) and Marshall Islands USD 22.3 million (11.1%). The top five investor countries collectively represented 85.5% of total investment.

The energy sector attracted the largest FDI share, USD 78.7 million (39.1%), followed by the trade with USD 39.5 million (19.6%), transport with USD 38.8 million (19.3%), manufacturing with USD 25.3 million (12.6%) and the real estate activities with USD 19.4 million.

Biden, Macron Urge Georgian Dream to “Return to Euro-Atlantic Path”


The U.S. President Joe Biden, and the President of France Emmanuel Macron “urge the Georgian Dream ruling party to respect the public’s wishes by returning to the Euro-Atlantic path” according to the joint French-American Roadmap released by the White House on June 8.

“The United States and France affirm their commitment to standing with the people of Georgia in their Euro-Atlantic aspirations, the French-American Roadmap reads, adding that “The United States and France support the establishment of a fair and lasting peace in the South Caucasus, based on the respect of international law as well as the principles of sovereignty, inviolability of borders and territorial integrity. They support further regional integration in the South Caucasus for the benefit of all the region’s people.”

The Roadmap was signed following the ceremonies commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings during WWII, when French President Macron hosted U.S. President Biden in Paris, and highlighted the two countries’ shared vision of a “Europe whole, free and at peace”, of shared values, and of transnational issues and challenges. The roadmap also addressed bilateral issues.
