And that’s something that we’re going to continue to work towards,” Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Vedant Patel said at a regular press briefing responding to a journalist’s question on U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s call to the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting AzerTac.
“The Secretary himself is personally deeply engaged on. And over the course of his time as Secretary, he has had regular engagements at regular intervals with both of these countries. And our engagements with both of them are ongoing,” he added.

Pianist, jazzman, composer and beloved pedagogue Rovshan Rzayev has passed away yesterday, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting Trend.
His friend, vocalist and composer Gasim Khalilov shared about this on his social network account.
According to G. Khalilov, Rovshan Rzayev, who also worked as a teacher at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, stood at the beginning of Azerbaijani jazz along with Vagif Mustafazadeh and later worked with Rashid Behbudov and Muslim Magomayev:
“Today, Rovshan’s student won first place among instrumentalists in the competition of young jazzmen. Today is International Jazz Day, and today we lost such a jazzman.”
