AYF FB Live Panel on ‘Countering Azeri Aggression’ to Feature Legal Experts


‘Countering Azeri Aggression Through International Law and the Pursuit of Justice’ FB live panel flyer

LOS ANGELES—The Armenian Youth Federation – Western United States will be hosting a live panel discussion on Facebook to take place on Saturday, June 1 at 11 a.m. titled, “Countering Azeri Aggression Through International Law and the Pursuit of Justice.”

The experts being featured are Dr. Kevork Hagopjian, Armenian Legal Center for Justice and Human Rights Board Member; Siranush Sahakyan, President of the International Comparative Law Center and Human Rights Attorney; and Armen Hovhannisian, Armenian Bar Association and Armenian Legal Center for Justice and Human Rights Board Member.

The conversation will be moderated by AYF-WUS member Areen Tazian and is set to discuss Armenian Prisoners of War (POWs), the Magnitsky Sanctions, the role of the United Nations, and the gamut of legal work taken to pursue justice for the Armenian Cause.

Founded in 1933, the Armenian Youth Federation (AYF) is the largest and most influential Armenian-American youth organization. With chapters throughout the United States and affiliated organizations around the world, the AYF actively strives to advance the social, political, educational, and cultural awareness of all Armenian-American youth.
