First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva shared a post on her official Instagram page on 28 May – the Independence Day.

“Azerbaijan has always been in solidarity with the Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and promoted their legitimate interests and concerns,” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in his address to the participants of the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States “Charting the Course Toward Resilient Prosperity” held in Antigua and Barbuda, Azernews reports.

A delegation led by Deputy Minister of Health of Uzbekistan Farkhodjon Tashpulatov visited Turkiye, Azernews reports.

“Azerbaijan will also facilitate the participation of SIDS at the COP29,” said President Ilham Aliyev as he addressed to the participants of the 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States “Charting the Course Toward Resilient Prosperity” held in Antigua and Barbuda, Azernews reports.
