Georgia’s parliament is meeting in a plenary session on May 28 to consider overriding President Salome Zurabishvili’s veto of the so-called “foreign agent” law, a highly divisive piece of legislation that has sparked weeks of protests.
“The United States welcomes the work that has been made toward a durable and dignified peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a press statement on the Independence Day of Azerbaijan, Report informs.
The peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be discussed at the meeting of the Turkish National Security Council on May 28, Report informs via TRT News.
