Any talk about concessions during the delimitation process is ungrounded, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during the Q&A session at the National Assembly.

“The border of the Republic of Armenia is being reproduced, not created, therefore, any talks about concessions are at lease illogical,” he further elaborated.

“I would rather call it success, as for the first time in history the Republic of Armenia is independently shaping a border through negotiations, thus laying an important cornerstone for the further development of sovereignty, statehood and independence,” Nikol Pashinyan said.

He assured that not a single millimeter of the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia has been ceded as a result of the delimitation process.

The Prime Minister demonstrated the map used during the delimitation process, which, he said, is a 1976 map of the USSR General Staff based on the results of 1969 delimitation.

Today the Azerbaijan Army Naval Forces’ military unit celebrates its 32nd anniversary.
The military unit was established on May 22, 1992. The personnel of naval and coastal units of the Naval Forces took part in the formation of the military unit.
During the First Karabakh War, the military unit’s personnel participated in the battles for the defense of the Lachin, Kalbajar, Aghdara and Aghdam regions, destroyed a large number of manpower, incapacitated enemy weapons and equipment, as well as liberated a number of strategically important positions from the enemy as a result of successful operations. In general, the personnel honorably fulfilled the assigned combat tasks.
Over the past period, servicemen of the military unit participated in courses held in various countries’ training centers and achieved high results.
In addition, the military unit’s personnel destroyed a significant amount of enemy manpower and military equipment in the April battles in 2016.
The Naval Forces’ military unit also showed great courage in the Patriotic War, which began on September 27, 2020. The tasks set to liberate Azerbaijani lands from enemy occupation were successfully accomplished.
During the anti-terror operation conducted by the Azerbaijan Army in the Karabakh region, the military unit’s personnel ensured the protection and defense of strategically important facilities.
Today, the military unit has modern weapons, combat vehicles and equipment manufactured by leading defense industry companies.

The RNC, the parent organization of the Republican Party, is playing a major role in the campaign of former President Donald Trump, who will face Democratic incumbent Joe Biden in the November 5 presidential election.  

The authorities initially closed off one downtown block and directed staff and other personnel to avoid the area. By midmorning, employees were reentering the building and police were leaving the scene, according to a Reuters witness.  

“The source of the package and its contents will be further investigated,” the U.S. Capitol Police said in a statement. 

The RNC did not respond to a request for comment.
