“We continue to believe that peace is possible here. And that’s something that we’re going to continue to work towards,” Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Vedant Patel said at a regular press briefing responding to a journalist’s question on U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s call to the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting AzerTac.

“The Secretary himself is personally deeply engaged on. And over the course of his time as Secretary, he has had regular engagements at regular intervals with both of these countries. And our engagements with both of them are ongoing,” he added.
