The Russian Federation has received a notification from Armenia about the termination of the work of the Russian border guards at the Zvartnots airport, contacts with Yerevan continue, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told journalists today, TASS reports.
He said contacts with Armenia continue, but refrained from providing details.
Speaking at a press’s conference earlier today, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the border guards troops of Armenia have notified Russia that the Armenian side can now carry out service at Zvartnots airport without their assistance.
