An event dedicated to the 106th anniversary of the establishment of the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev was held.
At the event, which was attended by the personnel of the Military Institute, representatives of the public and art, as well as other guests, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The speakers at the ceremony highlighted the military educational institution’s contribution to the Azerbaijan Army by the training of educated, capable, patriotic officers and the path of development, as well as emphasized examples of courage and heroism shown by graduates of the Military Institute in the combat operations conducted for the freedom of our lands.
It was noted that after the return to power of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, attention increased to all spheres in Azerbaijan, including science and education.
