Ukrainska Pravda reported this with reference to a source in the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In particular, according to the source, five majors, three captains, an warrant officer and a lieutenant were among the dead war criminals who were preparing missile strikes on Ukraine.

The media reports that the crew of the destroyed russian A-50U aircraft included:
- Aircraft commander – Major Borovikov;
- Assistant commander – Major Chantsev;
- Navigator – Captain Provalov;
- Onboard engineer – Captain Vasilyev;
- Senior airborne radio operator – Warrant Officer Khrulev;
- Chief of the crew, shift supervisor – Major Fedosov;
- Guidance navigator – Major Rulyuk;
- Guidance navigator – Lieutenant Telmanov;
- Senior onboard engineer – Captain Byelov;
- Onboard engineer – Major Soldatkin.
It is reported that there are no victims of the aircraft crash on the ground.
It will be recalled that a russian A-50U aircraft was shot down over Over the Krasnodar Krai in russia. This is the second A-50 that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed since the beginning of the war. Earlie in mid January Ukraine took down russian A-50 AWACS and IL-22 Airborne Command Center. Now russia has seven A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft left.
