On February 6-9, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan will pay a working visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
During the visit, several events and meetings are scheduled, including with the officials of the executive and legislative bodies of the Netherlands and the International Criminal Court.
Gagik Ginosyan dies aged 57
Gagik Ginosyan, the founder and artistic director of the “Karin” Armenian Folk Song and Dance Group, Honored Culture Worker of the Republic of Armenia and a participant in the Artsakh war, has died aged 58.
In 1987Gagik Ginosyan started dancing in the “Van” ethnographic song and dance ensemble founded by Hayrik Muradyan. In 1987-2001, as part of the concert programs of the “Van”, “Andovk”, “Akunk” groups, he participated in a number of foreign tours and became a laureate of four different international festivals.
He founded the “Tsovak” and “Karin” traditional song-dance groups in 2001.
A Memorandum of Cooperation in the fields of culture, higher education, secondary vocational education and training and innovation, scientific and technical activities has been signed between Armenia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary.
Presidents of the two countries, Vahagn Khachaturyan and Katalin Novák were present at the signing ceremony.
It was signed by Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Artur Martirosyan and Balash Hanko, State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary.
