Armenia, NVIDIA mull expansion of cooperation


Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan met with Shanker Trivedi, Senior Vice President Enterprise Business at NVIDIA. The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of cooperation, including in artificial intelligence. Reference was made to the possibility of expansion of the company’s activities in Armenia.

Minister Kerobyan also met with the head of Micron Technology and heads of a number of other high-tech companies and briefed them about Armenia’s business environment and opportunities.

“Our goal is to promote the presence of technology giants in Armenia, and encourage the existing ones to expand their activities,” Kerobyan said in a Facebook post.

The problem with bank card transactions: “Azerbaijan is not ready”


On January 6, Azerbaijan experienced widespread disruptions in bank card transactions, causing inconvenience to users attempting to carry out operations through mobile applications and ATMs. The issue was particularly prevalent in banks affiliated with “Azericard,” a Limited Liability Company (LLC) that provides processing services to 15 banks in the country.
