Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has met with the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as part of his official visit to the country, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting AzerTac.
The meeting saw discussions on the current bilateral cooperation agenda, as well as regional and international situations.
They stressed the importance of the high-level political dialogue for the enhancement of Azerbaijan-UAE cooperation.
They also hailed the fact that the two countries had made efforts to cultivate bilateral cooperation based on principles of Islamic solidarity, friendship and brotherhood over the period of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.
The two also stressed the significance of continuing the exemplary cooperation agenda and further enhancing cooperation in the spheres of tourism, education and high technologies.
They also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
