US stance on Gaza ‘paralyzing’ UN Security Council – Russia Washington is ignoring the calls to end the suffering of the Palestinians, Moscow says

The Russian Foreign Ministry has accused the United States of blocking the efforts of the United Nations Security Council to address the escalating violence in Gaza and Israel, calling the US stance “paralyzing” and “destructive”.

In a statement on Monday, the ministry said that Russia, along with other members of the Security Council, had repeatedly proposed a draft statement that would call for an immediate cessation of hostilities, de-escalation of tensions, and protection of civilians.
