Given the mentioned facts and more information available through open sources, we can now comfortably conclude that the aircraft under the call signs SMK701 and SMK702 (ICAO 176448 and 176438) were military helicopters housed in bunkers at Azerbaijan’s Dallar airbase.

As for the exact type of helicopters, the minimum and maximum speeds of both flights we between the range of around 70 km/h and 240 km/h, corresponding to the capabilities of Mi-8 and T-129 gunships, the Mi-24 flies at higher speeds, between 250 and 300 km/h.
