According to press freedom organizations, Israel has killed more than 12 journalists, mostly Palestinians working in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The journalists were killed by Israeli airstrikes and gunfire while covering the conflict that has killed more than 200 people since October 9.

Various journalists organizations around the world have condemned the killings and called for an end to the targeting of journalists who are providing critical reporting from Gaza.
