16 сентября примерно в 13:00 незаконные армянские вооруженные формирования на территории Азербайджана, где временно размещен российский миротворческий контингент, предприняли попытку выполнить копку в целях инженерной подготовки траншеи перед позициями Азербайджанской Армии в Агдамском направлении.
В результате неотложных мер, принятых подразделениями Азербайджанской Армии, работы были немедленно остановлены.
